Technical Training, Research, & Development

At Radar Automation Support Services (RASS), we are committed to continuous innovation and advancement in radar technology. As part of our dedication to staying at the forefront of the industry, we prioritize Technical Training, Research, and Development initiatives. Our commitment to technical excellence shines through projects like the ASR-9 Legacy System Modernization maintaining the ASR-9 Radar system at the engineering asset testing site of FAA- Atlantic City International Airport Technical Center, which serves as a prime example of how our dedication to continuous improvement drives us to push the boundaries of radar technology. Our team, including, our president Ms. Cincereyea R. Greene works extensively on this project, where we are actively involved in testing and modifying the ASR-9 legacy system. Recognizing the challenges posed by the obsolescence of manufacturing parts, we collaborate closely with Engineers at the Tech Center to develop and implement solutions for updating and modernizing the ASR-9 system. This includes conducting development testing, data analysis, revising technical procedures, and installing software and hardware updates. Additionally, we provide assistance to Engineers in troubleshooting technical issues experienced by technicians in the field or at different airport facilities. Technical training is central to our operations at RASS, ensuring that our team and other stakeholders involved are equipped with the knowledge and expertise needed to tackle complex challenges and deliver exceptional results. By combining our expertise with a commitment to research and development, we strive to ensure that our clients benefit from cutting-edge radar technology solutions that meet the demands of today’s airspace management needs.
